In addition to the traditional organization, Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event was held in Decentraland's virtual universe on the evening of February 9.

To participate, users need to go to the Samsung 837X area inside the Decentraland platform. This is a virtual space, simulating a real-life Samsung store at 837, Washington Street, New York.

Samsung said that users can log in to virtual events through a guest account or a main account. But for the most complete experience, guests should connect to MetaMask wallet to participate in tasks, collect NFT. When accessing Decentraland, they can also shape their avatars such as choosing clothes, hairstyles, and skin colors. The company has not disclosed details of what special experiences await users at the event.

According to Techradar, although very few people really understand and participate in the metaverse, this is one of the most attractive technologies today and will be the trend of the year. The event is a signal that Samsung is seriously pursuing blockchain, NFT and more. In early January, the company combined with Decentraland to launch the 837X store. Samsung is also bringing CES 2022 a customizable digital home, accessible through the Zepeto app. Recently, the company continued to introduce a series of NFT and blockchain-enabled devices.

SamMobile page said they took a walk around Decentraland before the Galaxy Unpacked event took place. The place is still pretty deserted, and the site thinks that Samsung holding one of their biggest events of the year here could bode well for the development of metaverse platforms.

Inside the 837X is a colorful, music-filled space with glowing spheres. "We stood still for a moment, but then our avatar started jumping on its own. We expect it to learn to stay still as we watch Unpacked 2022," Techradar said.

At Galaxy Unpacked 2022, taking place at 10 pm tonight, Samsung is expected to launch a trio of Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra phones, and Galaxy Tab S8 tablet.

According to Phone Arena, the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus will not change much in appearance compared to the previous generation, with screens of 6.06 inches and 6.55 inches, respectively. The S22 Ultra uses a 6.8-inch screen, with the design style of the Galaxy Note, with an integrated S Pen slot. The device can be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chip depending on the market.

The S22 and S22+ duo use three rear cameras, including the main camera with a 50-megapixel Isocell GN5 sensor, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens and a 12-dot ultra-wide angle. The Ultra version is said to have a 108-megapixel main camera.

SamMobile said that out of the three upcoming models, only the Galaxy S22 uses standard charging with a capacity of 25 W, while the S22 + and S22 Ultra will support 25 W or 45 W fast charging depending on the market.
